Jomar Butler was a scholarship athlete and linebacker at San Diego State where he was awarded with All American honors, recognized as a Mountain West Conference Player of the week, and nominated team MVP during his college career (1997-2002). Later, he pursued his passion for sports and coaching through F.A.S.T (Footwork, Agility, Speed Training - all sports). When he first moved to the Bay Area with his wife in 2010, he was a basketball official for the MCAL for several years. In 2012, he founded The County Bears, a basketball AAU program. In addition to training full time, the growth of The County Bears program has kept him busy year round. He resides in Marin with his wife, and three sons.
